Unfortunately the new Rugby Union 2013 / 14 season hasn’t kicked off as well as the Bedford Blues team would have liked so far with two straight defeats from two games being beaten by London Welsh and Jersey.
However at Lifesure we are sure that this is just a small blip as the team get to grips with their new team members and kit this season.
The new kit, seen below, which had its first outing recently, sports a pale and darker blue mixed pattern on the home kit with Lifesure insurance written on the back in white and with the Lifesure logo on the shorts. The away kit is predominantly white, with white and black mixed side panels and sleeves, with Lifesure insurance written on the back in the Lifesure pink.
This new kit is a departure from recent years and is more striking than it has been for a few years.
This season the team will be travelling the length and breadth of England and the Channel Islands with the Championship spread throughout, playing Bristol, Cornish Pirates, Ealing Trailfinders, Jersey, Leeds Carnegie, London Scottish, London Welsh, Moseley, Nottingham, Plymouth Albion and Rotherham Titans hopefully on their way to another playoff position.
